SPREADING AWARENESS ABOUT CLEAN TECHNOLOGY

OUR TEAM:

ABOUT US

Welcome to Project Parirakshan, a Non-Profit project formed by a group of students from The Shri Ram School Moulsari. We aim to increase awareness about clean technology solutions and their implementations. We plan to install carbon capture technology in Local schools in the Delhi NCR Region. As young minds deeply concerned about the impact of climate change on our planet, we believe that it is our responsibility to take action and address the environmental challenges we face today.  We firmly believe that technology can be a powerful ally in this battle against climate change. Our core objective is to introduce carbon capture technology in local schools across the Delhi NCR region. The installation of carbon capture technology in schools will serve as a tangible and impactful demonstration of how clean technology can play a pivotal role in combating climate change. In conclusion, Project Parirakshan is more than just an initiative; it is a movement driven by the determination of young minds to create a greener and healthier planet. We are confident that through our efforts to increase awareness about clean technology solutions and the installation of carbon capture technology in local schools, we can inspire a wave of positive change in the Delhi NCR region and beyond. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter and more sustainable future, where technology and environmental conservation go hand in hand. Join us in this endeavor, as we work tirelessly to protect our planet and leave a lasting legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come.

Outcome

The objective of our team is to spread awareness about the largely unknown field of cleantech, and the cheap, convenient and sustainable climate solutions it offers to the world. The reason we are spreading awareness is to present the real-world practicality and convenience of cleantech advancements, as it is often seen as an impractical and faraway concept. By changing the portrayal and way it is seen, we introduce more people to the field and spread awareness about its benefits, leading to faster adoption and more investments and resources towards cleantech companies, especially in developing countries, where it has a massive potential market but low recognition.

With the usage of cleantech innovations, we can fulfil our aim of providing a cheaper, easier alternative to other methods to ensure the essential human right to a clean, healthy, sustainable environment, recognising that it is endangered by fossil fuel emissions, through both pollution of the environment and global warming.

As for our way of execution, firstly, we surveyed a large sample of 100+ people about cleantech, confirming our hypothesis about it being relatively unknown. Then, we set about making a website to spread awareness about cleantech, which would act as a beginners guide to cleantech, explaining the field, its benefits, and highlighting specific products and innovations that they could use. Our ultimate aim is to make many of the innovations as commonplace and ubiquitous as catalytic converters, one of the earliest cleantech innovations. As such, our focus is not on wildly futuristic products, but rather those that are simple and effective, to fulfil goals of mitigating emissions and minimizing wasted energy. As examples, carbon capture technology that can be fitted onto diesel generators, thermostats that analyse and minimize unnecessary energy usage, and lithium battery recycling.
